Tutors

A to Z In-Home Tutoring provides one-on-one tutoring to students in their homes. We are seeking both teachers and four year college graduates to work as independent contractors (self-employed tutors) in over 30 counties in the state of Georgia. As an A to Z tutor, you will experience a flexible and well-paying part time job as well as the opportunity to work with at risk children and youth, making a measurable impact in your community.

All homes are carefully screened to ensure your safety and comfort. All scheduling is done between you and the student's family, making our program very flexible for both tutor and client.

Your hours per week will be determined by the number of clients you tutor. Most tutors work between three and twelve hours per week. These hours are performed after school hours and on the weekends. Tutors will be able to choose which and how many students that they tutor.

A background check costing $15 is required before you can begin tutoring. It can take up to a month for us to receive the results of the background check so it may be a month or so before you obtain your first client. We typically receive our referrals for tutoring students from the school districts at the end of September.
