We service most of Southern California and are actively hiring in the entire area.
We provide private tutoring to both private and public school students. We also offer tutoring for students who qualify for Supplemental Educational Services through the No Child Left Behind program.

JOB DESCRIPTION: All tutoring takes place in a one-on-one environment. Sessions occur at the students home or at a preferred location such as a public library. This is a part time position, and we work around the tutor?s schedule.Tutors work anywhere from 2-20 hours a week.The amount of hours tutors work per week depends on their schedule, what subjects they can tutor, and the amount of hours they prefer.Where a tutor lives or goes to school determines which area they will tutor in. Tutorial hours generally take place Monday through Thursday, between the hours of 4:00pm and 9:00pm. Hours vary on the weekends. Tutors work with the same students on a weekly basis.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

?  Ability to motivate students.

?  A reliable and personal automobile.

?  Consistent Internet access.

?  High level of commitment.

?  Pass criminal background check.

COMPENSATION $18.00 per hour for tutorials less than 2 hours. $16.50 per hour for tutorials 2 hours or more. Most tutorials are less than 2 hours. Credentialed Teachers.* $21.00 for a 1 hour tutorial. $19.50 per hour for a 2 hour tutorial.  

*Please note that credentials from states outside California are valid; however, emergency credentials are not valid, no matter what state issued the credential.
