Rite of Passage is a nationally recognized academic, vocational, and athletic residential program for at-risk youth. We are currently looking for career minded people for the position of Youth Worker for our Arizona campus, Canyon State Academy located just outside of Phoenix in the East Valley. Commonly referred to as the Land of the Sun, this area, in addition to offering exciting career opportunities, has a climate that offers year round outdoor recreation.



Youth Workers work directly with the student athletes providing leadership, guidance, and direction. This is a physically active position with responsibilities that include supervising students in daily sports, classrooms, group meetings, off campus sports and routine activities in a systemic and organized fashion. Simply put, we are looking for men and women who enjoy working with and mentoring young people. A minimum of 1-year experience working with youth, ages ranging 12 to 18 is preferred. Applicable experience can be voluntary or paid.



Our flexible shifts allow freedom that most jobs don t provide. Coach Counselor shifts are 3.5days on and 3.5 days off and we provide meals while on shift.
