American Red Cross- Biomedical Equipment Management Specialist

Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of the Equipment Management System in the Great Lakes Region.  Duties may also include performance of periodic preventive maintenance on collections equipment.

? Associates Degree in mathematics and/or science or equivalent experience required.

? Ability to work with computers, including loading software and database programs required.

? Broad knowledge of blood center operations, especially the functions of regulated departments preferred.

? Ability to read and write at the college level.

? Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.

? Ability to communicate and work well with others.

? Must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

? Ability to enter and access information from computers, office files and other data storage systems.

? Finger dexterity required handling and completing hand-written reports and files.

? Ability to visually scan characters for accuracy in review.

Ability to lift storage boxes of records and files weighing approximately 10-40 pounds
