Business Architect

Key Role: Work directly with a team and the client to design, develop, deliver, and maintain the DoD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA), including operational, systems, and technical views. Provide expertise for developing an Enterprise Architecture framework that enables tightly coupled business and IT planning. Work with subject matter experts and other architects to reengineer business processes, define business and system requirements, conduct process and data modeling, and support DoD architecture framework development. Apply the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) as appropriate to the products developed. Work with Business Transformation Agency (BTA) resources in government, contractor,  component services, and agencies to develop and deliver semi-annual releases of the BEA to the DoD client. Communicate the benefits of the BEA and encourage its wide-spread application in client initiatives. Work directly with the client to leverage the architecture in support of enterprise system selection and IT portfolio management. Assist the client in aligning business mission, vision, and strategy with IT hardware and software acquisitions.



Basic Qualifications: (Required)

-2 years of experience with consulting or IT program management

-2 years of experience with enterprise architecture

-BA or BS degree

-Ability to obtain a security clearance



Additional Qualifications:
