Customer Service Speaker Repair

Qualifications and Required Experience:

 

?  Working knowledge of loudspeakers and loudspeaker systems is required

?  Understanding of sound systems and related audio equipment is highly desirable

?  Troubleshooting skills, use of the appropriate test equipment and soldering techniques is required

?  Must be computer literate as required to carry out the basic functions of the position.  Fluency in the use of Microsoft Office, Access and SAP are highly desirable

?  Prior experience in a similar position is highly desired.

?  Strong verbal & written communication skills is a must.

?  Understanding of various manufacturing processes related to audio equipment

?  Effective administrative and organizational skills

?  Ability to work in a dynamic, team oriented and fast paced environment is essential

?  Ability to read schematics is a plus

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

?  Responsible for the incoming inspection of all loudspeaker, loudspeaker systems, including amplified units.

?  Diagnose / evaluate the problem and repair the defective unit(s)

?  Assists customers / service agencies with technical questions concerning product repairs

?  Maintain clear and organized records

?  Conduct training classes for the field repair technician

?  Maintain clear and organized records

 Education Requirements

 

?  High School graduate plus a minimum of one year of electronics training and/or certificate.

?  Associates degree in Electronics or Acoustics is beneficial.
