Job Title: DSP Product Manager for board-level platforms

Job Responsibilities:

 

Inbound marketing/product definition:Define and execute overall board strategy for the DSP Division Benchmarking and analysis versus other hardware platform solutions Ensure alignment with the other DSP roadmaps, including silicon, application IP, and software development tools Ensure alignment with the roadmaps of key third parties Provide technical training, collateral and articles in support of hardware platforms. Regular customer visits to both evangelize  solutions and also gather inputs to improve our DSP solutions Standards bodies involvement, including driving development and adoption of board-level standards that are of importance to the company and the ecosystem

 

Outbound marketing activities:Work with world wide marketing organization to ensure accurate and consistent DSP positioning and messaging to the sales force and customers Support trade shows and major releases

 

Product and program management:Product life cycle management of all DSPD board platforms Manage forecasts, inventory and fulfill  internal demand Negotiate and contract out board development with 3rd party vendors or consultants, as applicable Manage key 3rd party board vendors relationships Liaison between IP, Apps and SW in order to provide a complete solution

 

Required Experience:BSEE or equivalent, MSEE or MBA preferred 5 years experience with DSP algorithms 2 years experience promoting and marketing board-level solutions 2 years experience with high performance DSP implemented on FPGAs Experience presenting to and supporting customers Writing trade journal articles Writing and presenting training material both internally and externally Knowledge of DSP markets and customers

 

SkillsExpertise in board definition and project management Knowledge of board-level interconnect standards, such as VITA and PICMG Background in FPGA and DSP processors Solid understanding of DSP fundamentals Working knowledge of VHDL and Verilog Working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink Working knowledge of Code Composer Studio desirable Ability to quickly identify and articulate key features in DSP solutions (includes silicon, software and IP) Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Excellent customer interface skills Team player Prioritization and organization skills
