Design Engineer - Functional Test

We are currently seeking an experienced Functional Test Design Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement functional test solutions that deliver test performance to the extent called for by project scope.

Design activities include specification development, software design, hardware design and mechanical design.

Implementation activities include software coding and debug, part selection, equipment build support, installation, user training and start-up support.

Test performance characteristics include test coverage, programming/calibration functions, automation, repeatability, reliability, safety, ergonomics and supportability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology or equivalent.

Computer-related skills including but not limited to MS Windows, MS Office and use of one or more high-level programming languages, i.e. C/C++ and Labview.

Ability to work with and in a team.

Customer oriented focus

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Must possess strong time management skills
