A.  Job Summary:

New Product Introduction -

Maintain high level tracker of all new products and publish to Operations team weekly.

Establish capability to launch new products faster and meet FCS date

i. Develop processes and procedures for NPI

ii. Interface with Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Operations to ensure schedules are met

iii.  Oversee new product launch

iv. Work with the appropriate functions within Operations to develop and map the optimized supply chain

 

Develop capability to enhance product manufacturability

 

Establish policies and procedures to lower costs and improve efficiency by reducing the numbers of SKU?s and optimizing the usage of different flash memories.

 

Engage promising new memory. Develop internal capability to meet company?s short-term and long-term requirements in manufacturing technologies.

 

 

 

B. Primary Responsibilities:

 



 

1.

System Development: Develop the ?system? that will allow the planners to select the optimized ?flash & controller? configuration based on cost and available inventory.

 

2.

SKU Rationalization: Ongoing review of current SKU?s with the focus to rationalize the SKU count by 50% per region.

 

3.

 

Technical Adviser to Operations team on new supplier selection and product build.
