-Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
-Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
-Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
-Performs testing/calibration of components, assemblies or products.
-Performs visual/manual inspection to ensure quality.
-May resolve product/process problems.
-Performs preventative maintenance and repair.
-Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
-Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
-May work with non-standard materials.
-Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.

Primary Work Duties:
-Rework, repair, and touch up, of printed circuit board assemblies (component remove and replace, solder touch up) that utilize both thru hole and SMT components.
-Must be able to pass a soldering test, we will test to IPC 610 C standards, will test their ability to remove and replace components, both thru hole and SMT.

Ability to read, speak, and understand English a must.

Experience with personal computers and computerized data entry/collection along with ability to read and interpret BOM's and assembly drawings required.

High School or equivalent. Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience.

 

Must have unrestricted access to work in the U.S. E.O.E.
