ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN
NSPE, a subsidiary of Ionatron has an opening for the following position: Electronics Technician.
Provide support for engineering personnel, primarily in the area of R&D of high voltage, high energy power systems.
Three (3) years experience as an electronic technician, with demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot analog and digital circuits down to the component level. Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics is a must.
Selected applicant must have the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions, and must be dependable. Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced R&D environment.
Ability to prototype circuits, fabricate cables, assemble test fixtures, replace components and wire per drawings and schematics is a must. Experience with transformers (solid or air core) is desirable.
Ability to operate test equipment and understand data from test equipment is required (o-scope, function generators, multi-meters, frequency response analyzers, universal counters, etc.).
An associates degree or certificate from a college or technical institution is desired, experience in high voltage, pulse power or power supplies is a plus.
Work as a team and on one?s own with little or no supervision, follow safety protocol and produce quality products.
