Job Title : Electrical Engineering Technician

Job Description :
- Overview :
The function of this position is to support maintenance, production, and engineering. The primary focus is to increase uptimes and reduce repetitive maintenance issues.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Provide technical support plant-wide in areas of electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical problem solving and troubleshooting.
Primary focus on Electrical.
Provide technical guidance for skilled electrical/mechanical personnel in the maintenance groups.
Provide shop floor training to skilled trades/management in fields of expertise.
Perform engineering duties to solve reoccurring problems and for equipment upgrades.
- Responsibilities :
Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or equiv. OR at least 5 years equivalent job-related experience
At least 3 years of Production machinery troubleshooting experience
Additional Requirements:
Minimal (approximately 5%) travel for training or to visit O.E.M. during machine build or runoff.
PLC Programming Experience
Use of Electrical Diagnostic Equipment
Electrical & Fluid Power Print Reading
Microsoft Office Suite
