Electrical Support Specialist
Fike Corporation, a privately held, international manufacturer of pressure relief, explosion protection, and fire alarm/suppression equipment is seeking an Electrical Support Specialist for our corporate headquarters in Blue Springs, Missouri.
The person in this position will work primarily with our Fire Alarm & Fire Suppression products. The responsibilities of the Electrical Support Specialist include developing & facilitating training classes, interacting w/ customers to provide troubleshooting assistance & system designs. The qualified candidate will also have experience developing manuals & technical documentation. This position requires the individual to travel, have good customer service skills, be detail oriented, ability to read & understand blueprints & capable of managing multiple projects.
The requirements for this position include the following:Associates Degree in electronics technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. One year related experience in developing and facilitating training classes, troubleshooting & product design.Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, concepts, practices and theories.
The following experience is a plus for this position:
Experience or education in the field of fire protection or other related special hazard protection.Knowledge of CAD, Windows, Word and Excel. Basic understanding of NFPA standards and other related code restrictions. Bi or multi-lingual. Good presentation skills
