Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Geotest-Marvin Test Systems is a fast growing, Test & Measurement company with a solid position in the Aerospace and commercial markets. Geotest is Located in sunny Southern California, USA in the heart of technology development in Orange County. Geotest is growing and needs a qualified Electro/Mechanical Assembler for its Systems Engineering Department. The job is located at our headquarters in Irvine, California.

No relocation package is available.

 

Responsibilities:

============================

You will work in an exciting and fast-paced environment assembling a variety of testers, equipment rack assemblies and wire harnesses. You will also oversee the maintenance of the lab and its tools and assist test engineers by:

 

?  Wiring Interface Test Adapters using wire lists and or schematics.

?  Constructing test systems in accordance with design drawings. 

?  Constructing cables from schematic diagrams.

 

Required Technical experience/knowledge (Only Serious and qualified need to apply):

 

 

Minimum of Three (5) years in:

 

?  Reading Schematics; electrical, mechanical, and illustrations and following verbal assembly instructions.

?  Working in electro-mechanical environment

?  Assembly and wiring of equipment cabinets, etc.

?  Utilizing tools like torque wrenches, solder irons, continuity testers, calipers, pin extraction tool, wire crimpers.

?  Knowledge of IPC-A610 is preferred

?  Lifting heavy equipment

?  Associates Degree Preferred
