Electronic Repair Technicians

Tests and aligns a wide variety of standard/non-standard sub assemblies(PCB boards) and or units.Sets up and uses electronic test equipment?and documentation, repair to component level assigned product type.Meet the needs of shipping on a daily basis by supplying enough products while maintaining quality standards and assisting other group members.Perform through hole and surface mount component replacement and soldering.Support engineering as needed to implement/monitor tests on specific product in the tech center.Responsible for training less experienced(new hires) employees in standard repairs. Responsible for supporting kaizen work center circles either a debug tech in the work center or as a back-up debug tech. Track and report daily productivity numbers in work group or as an stand alone tech.Complete data sheets of test, repair results and entry into repair tracking system.Support and implement ISO 9000 Series Quality Management Systems requirements.Meet repair schedule in order to insure timely daily deployments.Perform other duties typical to this classification as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Two-year Associate degree in electronics or Vocational/Technical school diploma/certification in Electronic Technology plus one year of technical repair experience or equivalent work experience in component level technical repair. Previous electronic/mechanical assembly, test experience and/or component level repair experience.
