Electronic Technicians - Production, Medical

Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair medical device instrumentation requiring strict adherence to documentation and quality process and procedures; thereby yielding instruments that meet design and customer requirements.  Create complete and accurate documentation as required by written procedures and specification. Implement approved design changes to production instruments. Troubleshoot and repair production instruments and subassemblies to system component level. Act as a liaison between Production and Manufacturing Engineering in the resolution of design and manufacturing problems. Responsible for understanding the Quality Management System and needs to integrate their knowledge of the quality policy and business objectives into their work practices to augment the business such as: participating in internal audits, identifying areas which need improvement, implementing plans to correct and prevent problems. A key responsibility of this position is to ensure that their area of responsibility is in compliance with the FDA, ISO and IVDD standards.

 

Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent program or the equivalent in related work experience. Excellent electro-mechanical and trouble-shooting skills. Good communication sills and an ability to work independently on multiple tasks at one time. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Basic computer skills.
