Electronics Field Service Technician

Job Purpose:

Completes field service, installation, and calibration of hearing test equipment throughout Arizona and New Mexico.



Duties:

* Calibration of hearing test equipment both in the field and in the office.  Due to the nature of the equipment, most all work is done in the field at the customer's location so travel is an integral part of the position. 

 

* Trouble shoot and repair failed equipment.  Install replacement boards or components as necessary and verify proper working order.

 

* Install sound treated booths and hearing test equipment at customer's location.


 

Skills/Qualifications:

*Electronic training is required; Vocational training is fine, an Associates degree in electronics is preferred.

 

*Basic troubleshooting skills as well as knowledge of basic electronic test equipment such as Multi-meters and Oscilloscopes is necessary.

 

*Skills with both AC and DC circuits is helpful.

 

*Skills with power tools (saw, drill, etc) and equipment assembly is a plus.
