Embedded Electronics Design Engineer

International Electronic of Washington States, a  designer and manufacturer of dozens of products, is in need of highly qualified engineers with extensive knowledge of:- Assembly language programming. Must have extensive experience in assembly programming, best if PIC or Atmel. - Hardware design. Must have extensive experience in design of analog and digital design from ground-up as well as the ability to improve existing designs. - RF Digital Communications expertise would be preferred. - Automatic test devices for testing your designs on the assembly floor. - PCB layout with expert abilities, including RF noise mitigation, impedance and other important design elements.

Must be able to get along with others, as well as manage engineers and technicians. However, we are not looking for a manager, but a hands on product designer with talents and abilities which are wide ranging.

 

Position requires an "Out-Of-The-Box" thinker and problem solver. Most of your work would be done in Atmel assembly language. Most of the work is time critical and requires highly efficient coding and design. Additionally, must be able to understand and solve digital radio communications issues and bring to the company a fresh approach to increase utility, function and robustness to such products. Must be able to test and verify your own work and generate your work in a timely and expeditious manner. You may be required to work over weekends, if needed, in order to bring products to delivery or mitigate issues.
