Engineering Assistant

We are a privately held electronics firm who is a leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of electronic components and interconnect products. Our core product offering is computer connectors however, our focus is developing interconnect solutions for an expanding list of business partners in the communications, medical electronics and computer markets. We are based in Charlotte, North Carolina and have offices in Canada, Great Britain, Taiwan and China.

 

As a result of continued growth and increasing activity in our engineering group, we have an immediate requirement for an Engineering Assistant. The key duties of this position are supporting engineering and sales in new project development, QC/Inspection, updating product AutoCad drawings and providing technical product support. This is a hands-on position in a fast paced environment and requires an individual with strong technical skills (mechanical & electrical) who is able to effectively interact with various functional areas. The right candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years in a related position and the ability to manage project completion. A college degree is preferred.
