Entry-Level CAD Tech For Electronic Security Systems

Securitas Security Systems USA, Inc. is a leader in commercial and industrial security systems solutions.  We have an immediate opening for a CAD Drafter. This is an Entry Level/Full Time position focused on technical planning and drawing for Electronic Security Systems including CCTV, Access Control and Alarms.  This position is based in our Walnut Creek, California Branch.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

- Producing systems installation drawings which includes floor plans, riser diagrams, system diagrams and layouts using AutoCAD software

- Assembling product submittal binders and operations & maintenance manuals (O&M) for clients

- Preparing drawings per specification and plans including point-to-point wiring diagrams, riser diagrams and floor plans.

 

Qualified applicants with the following skills and experience are encouraged to apply:

 

- Proficient in AutoCAD 2004 or higher (Drafting degree preferred but not required)

- Experience or equivalent combination of training and experience in the use of AutoCAD desired

- Experience in Access Control, CCTV & Burglar Alarm Systems, or electronic / electrical controls systems is a plus.

- Must be able to apply practical knowledge of CAD software to solve technical design and system solutions
