Field Applications Engineer - Switching Regulators
High-profile provider of electronics seeks a Field Applications Engineer for their San Diego location to market IC?s in their power management product division, providing applications support and marketing for electronic components, particularly switching regulators.
Requirements3+ years of experience as a Field Application Engineer / Application Engineer or similar (product marketing, technical support, field engineering, etc) for applications assistance with power supply IC's and switching regulators. Expertise in switching regulators and strong background in analog power design and power management systems engineering, able to interface with customers to define product specs and generate new design activity.Bachelors Degree in EE or equivalent (Masters a plus)Able to work closely with sales managers and report to company headquarters in Japan, with fluency in Japanese preferred.Travel of 30%, both domestic and international
