Field Service Engineer Electronics

  FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER, CAPITAL MEDICAL DEVICE Washington DC area

 

My client has an immediate need for a service rep for the Washington DC area.  You will be trained on the company's electro mechanical medical equipment.  We are looking for someone that can travel up to 80%.  This company has a policy to get you home on Fridays for the weekend.  You will be required to drive within a certain radius of your home base. 

 

You should be a tech level II.  You will recalibrate this equipment, align the opticals, and effectively perform component and sub-assembly troubleshooting and repair in the field. You will be working with high voltage DC current. You will maintain accurate records and perform all PMs required.  Prior experience renewing or selling service contracts is a large plus.  If you do not have this, they will train you to sell contracts and you will earn a commission on all contracts you renew or sell new.

 

An AA degree is preferred, but field training and other education will be accepted for this position.  A minimum of three years field service is required for this position.  Must be familiar with basic test equipment and troubleshooting practices.  Must be able to read and use schematics for fault isolation and repair.
