Field Service Engineer MRI, CT, Xray, Nuc Med

In this role, the Field Engineer will be responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), CT (Computed Tomography), Xray, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound or Cardiovascular Diagnostic Imaging equipment and driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.

Responsibilities include:
* Completing Preventative Maintenance on designated equipment
*Managing repair parts cycle times
* Performing Functional Management Inspections
* Maintaining customer service logs and internal service records
* Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction
* Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated
* Meeting Health and Human Services and Environment Health and Safety requirements
* Managing vendors service delivery processes in compliance with GE Healthcare policies
* Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues and conducting root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving
* Participating in sales opportunities such as contract renewals and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs
* Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts with assigned area

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent military education or Associates Degree with 6 years experience servicing electronic equipment, or a High School Diploma/GED and 12+ years experience servicing electronic equipment.
*3 years minimum specific (MRI or CT or Xray or Nuc Med or Ultrasound or Cardiovascular) medical diagnostic imaging servicing experience.
* You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history and educational background.
* Willingness to relocate to the specific location of the open position.
* Willingness to travel locally in the field 3-4 days per week within the specified geographic region (very minimal overnight stays)
* Willingness to take a drug test
* Legally authorization to work in the United States
* Willingness to work out of a home-based office located within the specified metropolitan area
* Must have a valid driver's license
* To the extent you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned/leased, privately owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record

*Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment in the Healthcare Industry

Field Engineers are required to complete all Quality and EHS assigned training. These trainings are tracked and monitored to assure that all of Global Service is compliant with Quality Regulations and EHS Requirements.
