FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

WORK LOCATION - TWINSBURG, OHIO

 

Job Duties:

 

Develop electronic testing techniques applicable to the Neutron Monitoring System. Train customers and internal service teams to implement these techniques.
Develop conceptual designs of major components of system, which meet the established objective of assigned programs.
Develop analytical techniques of the analysis and design of BWR system components and associated manufacturing processes.
Provide functional guidance, leadership and work direction to engineering staff supporting the task or project.
Apply established principals in more than one technical field such as nuclear, mechanical, electronic, manufacturing or materials engineering.
Exercise judgment in selecting alternate approaches to the solution of problems.
? Work closely with Nuclear Site engineers (On site and in home office) to diagnosis and troubleshoot Neutron Monitoring Sensor components.

? Provide on-site work direction to Site Craft personnel or Field Service technicians during plant outage activities

BS degree Electrical Engineering 2 years experience in nuclear power plant system engineering or other technical, scientific degree with significant applicable experience.
Knowledge about GE BWR Neutron Monitoring Systems.
Experience with Time Domain Reflectometry, Current Voltage curves and neutron and gamma detectors, noise measurement and shielding.
