Job Description

 

We are a very progressive company that is seeking qualified Audio Video/Home Theater Technicians/managers that want to go to the next level.  We are a company specializing in residential and commercial electrical, electronic, and computer technologies.Our company is a complete package providing our clients with diverse assortment of opportunities without ever having to contact multiple service types.  This job opportunity will allow potential candidates to not only continue to build the knowledge in the audio video arena, but other areas as well. 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Skills

 1 to 2 years of experience in field installation of residential and commercial audio and video systems, pre-wire, retrofit and new construction,

 Ability to read wiring and component system design drawings and product manuals.Computer proficiency as well as preferably a strong networking background. Superior interpersonal skills for communications with other trades, fellow installers, and clients.

 Project management skills to be able to take projects from conceptualization to completion Provide good documentation by completing logs and records; updating diagrams, as builts, and drawings.

Maintains safe work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and codes.Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.Knowledge of AMX, Crestron, Harmon Kardon, Niles, Vantage, Lutron, Sony, Fujitsu, Ronco, and other high end electronics.

 Knowledge of different termination types and what they are used for.

 Follow-up on service issues

 Ability to install satellite systems and follow proper code requirements

 Knowledge and skill sets in the areas of electrical, carpentry, and computers a plus
