Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp, a world leader in the development and design of avionics and hydrographic survey equipment, has an immediate opportunity for a senior salesman/sales manager in its Innerspace Technology (ITI) hydrographic survey division.

 

Job Description:



 

This individual will have a high degree of professionalism and exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills in addition to having a solid track record in technical sales.  Experience in the hydrographic survey field or dredging industry would be a major plus. This position reports to the Director of Business Development.  He/she must be capable of managing multiple tasks, resolving conflicting requirements, and establishing priorities.  A positive ?can do? attitude is essential for this position. 

 

Position Responsibilities

 

1) Handle customer inquiries and make sales calls to customers throughout the world.

2) Maintain website content and product literature.

3) Willingness to travel to customer sites or conventions for meetings, demonstrations, and product support.

4) Conduct internal sales meetings and keep appropriate records.

5) Develop internal and customer related presentation material.

 

Position Requirements

 

1) College degree required with technical background a plus.

2) 2+ years in selling high technology products/test equipment.

3) Knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel.

4)  Added Plus:  Experience in hydrographic survey or dredging industry with experience on boats.

5) Added Plus:  Military experience or selling to military customers.
