IC Design Engineer

IC DESIGN ENGINEER Contract position. Utilizing both internal and external CAD tools, the candidate will follow design rules to perform static timing and signal integrity analysis and parasitic extraction on standard cell IC layouts.  Candidate will also communicate and address schedule risks and proactively provide options and solutions for minimizing risks and meeting goals.
The ideal candidate should: (REQUIRED SKILLS BELOW)
- Have extensive experience with standard STA tools such as PrimeTime, PrimeTime SI, or Celtic 
- Have experience writing and analyzing constraints for complex clocking and timing requirements for large designs.
- Have 5-7 years experience in IC design and extensive knowledge of signal integrity issues and solutions
- Have actual IC tape-out expertise in deep submicron designs, such as 0.13 and below.
- Be proficient with Tcl and Perl scripting languages
- Be fluent in English
- Have good interpersonal skills and communication capability
- Be self-sufficient
- Have BSEE.  MSEE preferred. (or a computer engineering degree)
