JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Nolan Power Group, headquartered in Mandeville, LA, is a manufacturer's representative, installer, and servicer of Enersys and Marconi emergency back up power and battery systems.  We also have satellite offices in Florida & Texas.

 

Nolan Power Group has multiple openings for Senior Technician & Helper positions in the Ft. Lauderdale, FL area. The individual will be responsible for servicing un-interruptible power supplies and batteries and other company electronic based products in a high voltage environment at the customer's site. Performs emergency and preventive maintenance and installation on a 24/7 on-call basis with regional responsibility. Responsible for performing on-site or in-house servicing and repair of company products. Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment. Serves as customer contact on technical and service related problems. Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Company vehicle provided. Some overnight travel required

 

Note:  All work is done at customer sites which are in various locations. Some customer sites are in buildings others are in outdoor cabinets.

 

Overtime is sometimes necessary and allowed to complete out jobs. 

 

Most training is on the job working with an experienced installer.  There is some formal training with one or more of our manufacturers as well.
