Inside Technical Sales - Inertial Products

<b>INSIDE SALES ? INERTIAL PRODUCTS</b>

 

 

This position is focused on revenue growth for Crossbow?s market-leading Inertial Products through direct and distributor sales.  This person answers inbound sales calls, follow-up on end-user leads and distributor questions.  The successful candidate will be a team player who possesses a strong desire to achieve their goals and works in a well-organized and detail-oriented manner.

 

<b>REQUIRED BACKGROUND SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</b>

<ul>

<li>3+ years of sales-related experience in hardware and technology platforms.

<li>BA degree, or equivalent experience.

<li>Demonstrated ability to work in a growth environment with evolving strategic and tactical plans.

<li>Must have experience in telephone sales and possess excellent verbal communication skills.

<li>Demonstrated ability to deliver results with aggressive revenue goals.

<li>Detail-oriented, flexible, with the ability to take direction.

<li>Highly motivated self-starter dedicated to achieving goals and performance metrics.

<li>Aggressive and proactive, self-directed individual who desires growth and continual challenge in their sales work.

<li>High aptitude for learning in a fast-paced evolving environment, where self-improvement and remaining current on products, competition and processes is vital to success.

<li>Demonstrated influencing skills and ability to close the sale or to qualify and pass the opportunity to an appropriate salesperson.

<li>Computer skills including:  MS Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as experience in sales processes in a contact management and order processing system.

</ul>

 

<b>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</b>

<ul>

<li>Answer inbound product questions about Crossbow?s market-leading Inertial Products and take the order.

<li>Receive and input sales and purchase orders.

<li>Close direct sales or pass the lead on high percentage of inbound calls.

<li>Follow-up on leads as assigned or individually developed.

<li>Educate all customers so they are aware of the Crossbow products and solutions that are available.

<li>Plan follow-up calls and maintain all reporting and administrative functions in an accurate and timely fashion.

<li>Maintain a high level of energy, a commitment to quality, and a professional sales demeanor at all times.

<li>Attend training to remain current on products, competition and processes.

<li>Conduct lead prospecting and direct sales via telephone covering a wide geographic and diverse customer set.

<li>Follow-up on marketing and sales events and campaigns.

<li>Provide prompt and professional responses to product and pricing requests.

<li>Represent Crossbow and our products at tradeshows and other sales events.

<li>Some tradeshow travel is required.
