LIGHTING TECHNICIAN

Southern Audio Visual is one of the premier provider's of audio visual and staging services to many luxury hotel, conference centers and resorts in Florida,Georgia, New York, Pensylvania and Lousiana.

 

We are currently searching for a Lighting Technician a candidate who can join our team of professionals in the audio visual field in Miami at our Corporate office location.

 

The ideal candidate will have an aptitude and advanced knowledge of lighting systems

Must have a minimum of High School.

Knowledge of Avail would be an assett.

Must have excellent customer service skills.

Must be able to accomodate a rotating work schedule to include nights and weekends.

A can do attitude is a must.

 

 

The Lighting Technician will be responsible for all aspects ofTesting and preparing equipment for upcoming shows Maintainance of all lighting equipment. Performs site inspections with Sales and or Project Managers when necessary. Enters into Avail all items needing repairs Maintains stock levels. Provides CAD drawings for shows when necessary. Works with Show Services department on large shows. (Designs, set, operate and strike)
