 Synaptics? Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving marketing projects in the areas of trade shows and events, marketing collateral, newsletters & corporate communications, budget reconciliation, Intranet and web site development, and other Marketing Projects as defined by the company's marketing communications plan.  Responsibilities will include: web site (internal and external) project management and maintenance, managing trade show and seminar planning, collateral creation, desktop publishing, newsletter creation and distribution list management, customer product presentations, reconciliation of the Marketing department budget, and coordination of the design and production of sales and marketing collateral.  Also our Marketing Specialist will perform variety of writing and editing assignments for public relations, product and corporate brochures, direct mail, and other marketing materials.

 

Requirements:

? Exceptional organizational skills

? Strong oral and written communication skills

? Some creative/graphic ability

? Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Macromedia Dreamweaver

? Basic HTML skills

? People/vendor-relationship management skills

? Flexible, team-oriented attitude, versatile, self-motivated, detail-oriented

 

Education:

? Bachelors degree in marketing, English, journalism, advertising, or related subject-or work experience equivalent

? 2-3 years experience in a Marketing Communications position with a high tech company or agency
