Mechanical Engineer
Title: Mechanical Process Improvement Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Salary: $80,000
Job: This is an impressive state of the art facility in the western suburbs. They are producing Electronic Materials. They are looking for an Engineer to help launch a new process and product. They are using extrusion, grinding, routing, and lamination.
Responsibilities: The responsibilities will include machine redesign/retooling, optimizing in house production equipment, using SPC to improve plant conditions, and the scale up of processes to other world sites. The job will also involve some Tech Service and Customer Support.
Experience: Mechanical Engineer with 5 - 13 years of experience out of any Mechanical process in which a candidate has had experience in the following:Machine RedesignGrinding/Milling of metals or plasticsWorked as an in plant or development engineerExcellent communication skillsAbility to make presentations
Other pluses would be experience out of electronic devices, plastics, or industries of high quality. Our client will relocate from other parts of the USA.
