Product Engineer

Vectron International designs and manufacturers products which fulfill critical functions in the telecommunications, data communications, wireless, military, satellite communications and multimedia markets worldwide.  The Hudson facility, already one of the world?s largest manufacturers of crystal oscillators, is looking for new members to join our team.



 

Product Engineer - Responsible for new product introduction, production support, product costing, yield improvement, cost reduction and coordination of RMAs and FMAs. Creates and maintains manufacturing documents such as product specs, routing, BOM, ECO, engineering drawings and work instructions. This individual acts as the manufacturing representative for all aspects of the product, coordinating efforts among marketing, sales, engineering, manufacturing, quality, materials management and supply chain organizations. This individual will develop, and maintain data retrieval and reporting for sales, engineering, quality and manufacturing of key manufacturing metrics including yields and product performance data.

The individual in this role must have excellent overall understanding of the product and its component technologies and processes. Solid knowledge of data analysis techniques, Six Sigma methodology, process capability analysis, DOE and SPC is required. BS in engineering / science and 3 - 5 years experience in microelectronics components manufacturing is required. Experience in frequency generation / control component (BAW / SAW oscillators) manufacturing is desired.
