Production Assistant 1 – IC Test --- Be Part of a Fascinating Industry

THAT Corporation, a leader in audio technology, is looking for an experienced IC Test Production Assistant 1.  THAT Corporation specializes in the design and manufacture of analog integrated circuits for professional audio applications. In this position, you will be primarily responsible for testing and sorting Integrated Circuit (IC) chips.  You must assure that IC?s are properly tested, sorted, segregated and inventoried in an efficient manner. 

 

Specific Duties include:

 

?  Inspect untested ICs for any mechanical damage (bent leads, abrasions, staining or oxidation).

?  Identify manufacturer part number and date code.

?  Start test programs and power up test equipment.

?  Keep automatic IC test handlers filled with unsorted IC?s.

?  Operate IC marking machine.

?  Keep sorted ICs segregated by their grade and date code.

?  Bag and label sorted ICs with grade, date code, and quantity.

?  Stock graded ICs as directed.

?  Perform minor adjustments or repairs to handlers, as directed.

?  Keep records of grade yields and daily production quantities.

?  Keep test handler clean and test area neat and orderly.

?  Practice all ESD prevention procedures.

?  Operate manual IC test fixtures, if necessary.

?  Perform other assignments, as directed by your supervisor

 

Qualifications Include:

 

?  High School Diploma

?  Basic math skills.

?  Ability to read and write in English.

?  Attention to detail.

 1 year of industry experience preferred.Willingness to work 1st,  2nd or 3rd shift.
