Quality Manager - Electronics Manufacturing

Successful electronic manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Manager with a proven record in not just reporting quality results but actually driving quality results.

This position reports directly to our President.

 

Essential Responsibilities will include:

Establish, implement and administer quality guidelines and procedures for electronic manufacturing operations.

Lead the quality, inspection and ISO documentation team members

Assist operations in evaluating and improving processes.

Analyze problems to determine appropriate corrective actions and drive closure to such challenges.

Participate in supplier selection process and provide support to purchasing regarding supplier quality issues

Act as direct interface with customers regarding our quality system and quality metrics

Determine causes and solutions for customer discrepancies and product returns

Develop, analyze and report quality metrics for manufacturing and quality assurance functions, both internally and externally

 

Required Experience and Skills Includes:

Minimum 5 years experience in quality management, including solid electronics manufacturing experience. 

Must have working knowledge of current ISO systems and standards management.

Exceptional leadership skills and a proven background in driving improvements in an electronics manufacturing organization.

Solid  analytical skills and the ability to quickly define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and implement creative solutions.

Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers

 

Engineering degree or equivalent strongly desired
