SI&T Wireless VoIP Test Engineer – NA-2931207 BH

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in the development of leading edge products in Wireless Voice over IP telephony. The System Integration & Test Engineer will work with leading cable and telephony customers, and world class partners on systems designed to provide wireless telephony service over mesh networks.

 The position will focus on the product and system level testing of IP telephony components used to create new wireless Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony systems and will include the following responsibilities:

? Review engineering documentation for accuracy

? Develop test plans, test specifications, and test procedures for IP telephony products from system requirements

? Develop test methodologies covering solution requirements - Traceability

? Interface with partners and internal developers to debug and test IP telephony systems

? Participate in system integration activities

? Execute product & system-level tests

? Troubleshoot/debug problems

? Author test scripts for automated test execution

? Document issues, provide status and report test results

? Participate in the configuration management activities.

 

ASSIGNMENT LENGTH:

12 Months

 

PRIMARY CANDIDATE:

● Develop test plans, test specifications

● Execute product & system-level tests

● Bachelors Degree in related field
