Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician

Trouble-shoot down equipment, define and perform all preventive maintenance on tools in the area

* Photo
> Exposure tools (steppers, contact aligner)
> Coat/develop spinners/tracks
> Ovens/hotplates

* Diffusion
> Atmospheric furnaces (thermal ox, anneals)
> Low pressure furnaces (nitride, poly)
> Tube cleaner

Works with Mechanical/Design engineer to design and fabricate any specialty fixturing as required to meet unique program needs.

Assist Photo and/or diffusion staff as necessary to ensure timely work flow.

Maintain spare parts inventory control; define and order appropriate parts (with competitive bids or sole source justification).

Ensure good chemical, compressed gas handling and safety practices are used within the maintenance team.

Work with the ITC team to achieve overall processing goals on schedule.REQUIREMENTSMinimum 7 years experience in semiconductor tool maintenance which includes Photo and/or Diffusion Tooling.

Hands-on approach to problem solving

Good communication skills, capable of working in a team environment

Demonstrated process trouble-shooting skills

Some processing knowledge and how it integrates to the tool capability/setup is desirable

Experienced over a range of equipment

Experience on an Emergency Response Team desirable

Knowledge of SPC and ISO practices and procedures desirable

Experience authoring and maintaining maintenance documentation desirable
