Currently, Flextronics has an opening for Senior Commodity Manager to join our Broomfield, CO team.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 



Ø  Responsible for the Infrastructure business segment Electrical commodity and supplier strategy, and sourcing related activities and decisions in collaboration and coordination with Global commodity management.

 

Ø  Responsible to the business segment to ensure that the commodity strategy and suppliers are defined and clearly understood, supply chain strategies and initiatives are driven to the supply base, supplier contracts meeting customer requirements, pricing and cost reductions meet expectations, etc.

 

Ø  Works with the manufacturing sites, Strategic Supply Chain Managers, and customers to understand, develop, communicate and track commodity and supplier expectations to meet the business segment requirements.

Ø  Works to drive the commodity and supplier strategy throughout the business segment.

Ø  Will participate in setting team goals and objectives.

Job Requirements:


 

 

Qualifications:

 

Ø  Experience with and understanding of electronic components

Ø  Knowledge of electrical component commodities, including general market conditions and trends, supply base, business terms, etc

Ø  Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work and collaborate with all levels of management

Ø  Ability to effectively work with customers and suppliers.

Ø  Experience is developing, implementing and driving strategies

 

 

Education / Training:

 

Ø  Minimum Bachelor's degree with a technical or business major

Ø  Experience in commodity management or procurement in multiple manufacturing site environment.

Ø Very strong skills in MS office software applications.
