Semtek is a strong innovator in the fields of magnetic stripe reader and other data capture technologies, particularly in the electronic payments space.  We are seeking a senior, hands-on technologist who desires a central role in our new product development cycle. 

 

Your contributions will include:

 Advance designs from concept to production Developing requirements, specifications and schedules Design of System Architecture Lead and participate in technical and strategic design reviews Design debug including integration activities with other cross-functional team members Complete formal verification activities from protocol development, through testing and release of Design for production. Work with Product Engineering, Operation (Mfg) and product support teams to launch products.

 

Requirements:

 BSEE degree or equivalent 8+ years applicable experience  Strong hardware design experience with microcontrollers Firmware Development Knowledge of algorithms and strong problem solving skills required.  Non-Technical requirements include: Ability to multi-task; working in a team environment; quick learner Good oral and written communication skills
