About the Opportunity
This is a GREAT opportunity working in the electronics industry.  

The position is a contract position for approximately 6-9 months. Will be working directly with all levels of the Engineering team.   


Help our client be a leader in the electronics industry by acting as the Electronic Technician who tests new electronic products for the company; prepares samples; documentation of test results. 

 

 

Qualifications
BS or AS degree in Electronic Engineering Technology required along with a minimum of 4 years experience with electronic testing and excellent technical writing skills - Word and Excel (over 50% of the job will be writing test results, etc..). 
Prepare samples for testing. 
Perform optical and mechanical tests and measurements on product samples.
Operate standard test equipment such as environmental chambers, optical power meters, oscilloscopes, instron. 
Analyze results for compliance to performance requirements, and identify irregularities
Analysis of data is performed using basic statistical engineering techniques. 
Summarize test information (including data) and write formal test reports.
