Senior Product Engineer

Responsibilities:

?  Provides primary customer contact for New Product Launch (NPL) activities. 

?  Responsible for all manufacturing processes, materials, and tooling to ensure that products are assembled to customer expectations.

?  Takes full manufacturing responsibility, leading products through prototype, pilot and production builds

?  Performs Design for Manufacturability and works with Test Engineering on Design for Testability

?  Assists in developing project proposals and associated cost estimates

?  Develops in-depth knowledge of customer?s products as required to support product?s transitional activity

 

Skills and Essential Functions:

?  Will demonstrate ownership, excellent problem solving skills, and creativity in developing sound technical solutions to business unit problems

?  Will demonstrate the ability to solve and document complex cross departmental issues using structured problem solving tools

?  Will demonstrate ability to work individually or in teams

?  Will possess effective communication, both written and verbal

 

Education and Training Requirements:

?  Must have a 4-year Engineering degree, related technical degree, or equivalent education with 5+ years engineering experience in printed circuit board or systems integration assembly processes.

?  Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office and Windows? applications

?  Must have Project Management experience
