About the Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced technician to work in our Primary Standards lab located in Libertyville, IL. In this position you will be a part of a team representing Sypris Test & Measurement by providing customer service and technical expertise to meet our customer's requirements.

Position Summary:

Performs routine and complex work related to the repair and calibration of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical test and measurement equipment. Provides field maintenance on equipment, when required. Uses calibration procedures and measurement systems for use on customer equipment in compliance with requirements. Assures compliance to Division quality system.

 

Qualified Candidates will meet the following requirements:

 U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident StatusAdvanced Military Calibration Certification and training preferredA minimum of 4-6 years experience in the repair and calibration of electronic/electro-mechanical, process control equipment and mechanical equipment.Electrical and Physical Dimensional Experience requiredRF Microwave experience preferredBasic Electronics and Computer SkillsCapable of heavy lifting (50 to 80 pounds)Valid D.L. requiredClean Driving Record - no moving violations within the past 3 years
