Sr.Digital Design Engineer - MCU

Senior Digital Design Engineer (MCU) 11330  Job Description:The candidate will play a leadership role in the specification, analysis, detailed design, verification, and synthesis of digital modules used in MCU based, mixed signal integrated circuits. Familiarity with 8051 MCU operation and interface is a plus. Responsibilities:? Verilog behavioral/RTL design, simulation, and synthesis ? Verilog behavioral modeling of analog circuits ? Generation of timing constraints for synthesis ? Clock tree generation, scan insertion and post layout timing analysis ? Assist test program development ? Key technical interface through production ramp Education Requirements:PhD or MSEE plus experience   Minimum Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years design experience digital and/or mixed signal IC. - Good knowledge in RTL development, synthesis and timing tool. - Good communication and organization skills. - Familiar with using a script language. - Must be able to analyze a digital gate using SPICE. - Some experience using FPGAs for design verification is a plus.   Preferred Qualifications:-Knowledge of embedded controller based designs. -Experience in mixed signal design.   Send resume or email to Jobs_Design@silabs.com .
