Description

Wionics Research develops wireless integrated circuits products for advanced wireless applications. Our products include wireless local-area network (WLAN) integrated circuits for personal computer (PC) and home multimedia systems, highly integrated tuner circuits for cable set-top box, liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions, and high-definition television (HDTV), and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) integrated circuits for home multimedia applications. Our WLAN product has recently won the Best Choice Award for Communications Product at Computex Taipei 2004 and the Best Product Award of the 2004 Taiwan IT Month. The same product has also received certifications from Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) as well as been adopted as one of the reference platforms for WPA2 compliance test for the new Wi-Fi security. Wionics Research is a subsidiary of Realtek Semiconductor Corporation, a public company based in Taiwan. WIONICS Research has an immediate opening for a senior printed circuit board (PCB) layout designer in Irvine, CA. The position is responsible for the design of all types of circuit boards with an emphasis on high-speed, multilayer, high density digital and RF design.

 

The successful candidate must have the following:

*Min of 5 years experience.

*Familiar with high-speed digital layout techniques and RF/mixer signal layout methodologies

*Experience using both manual and auto routing techniques

*Experience on library symbol development, creation of fabrication and assembly drawings.

 

*Ability to Interface with fabrication vendors

 

*Ability to work on complex design with minimum supervision.
