JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Design and develop power electronics in the range of 5 kW to 100 kW for industry leading industrial power electronics product line.
? Perform analysis and simulation of control loops and circuit elements to ensure product performance and reliability.
? Provide leadership in development of design processes for power electronics that result in predictable high value design outcomes.
? Work effectively with manufacturing engineering, planning, and procurement to ensure that new designs flow smoothly into production.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:
? BSEE and minimum 10 years of applicable experience in three phase and DC/DC high frequency power supplies.
? MSEE preferred.
? Off line and DC/DC power electronics and Magnetics design for high frequency switching power supplies from 5 to 100 kW.
? IGBT and MOSFET operation and drive techniques, design for Power Factor and power factor correction
? Thermal design
? Design for EMC including circuit board layout, control, and filter design.
? Control loop design and optimization.
? High degree of ownership in all work related activities.
? Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
? Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline team (engineering, manufacturing, planning, purchasing, field service, marketing, etc.)
? Must be able to complete complex tasks with minimum supervision
? Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers as well as internal and external customers.
? Ability to understand complex systems from engineering documentation. Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
