Systems Engineer, Mid

Key Role: Support the Space Exploration Program performing challenging assignments as a systems engineer. Perform software assurance or system engineering or command, control, communication development, or assessment of requirements. Develop, assess, and verify new requirements for the program's architecture. Develop and assess technical, programmatic, mission, schedule, and cost risk management, viability of system level requirements, requirements verification, and reconciliation of requirement parent and child relationship. Work from specifications to develop or modify moderately complex project tasks to specialized technology problems. Analyze performance indicators, including response time and a number of transactions to ensure the efficient use of resources and attainment of the operating objectives. Upgrade data handling and conversion and storage on the system as appropriate.



Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with NASA, commercial, or DoD space
-Experience with spacecraft systems engineering, mission formulation, concept development, requirements management, design, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test
-Experience with analyzing and resolving difficult and complicated program support deficiencies


-BA or BS degree in Engineering or Physics


-Ability to obtain a security clearance
