Technical Support Specialist - Long Beach, CA

Miele, widely acknowledged for more than a century as the industry leader of high quality domestic appliances and vacuum cleaners is looking to expand its family.

Responsibilities and job tasks:
- Help technicians and customers troubleshoot and repair our full range of appliances, including dishwashers, washing machines, and ovens over the telephone
- Maintain a high level of customer service to dealers, sales reps, field technicians and retail customers
- Other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates should have:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills
- Technical training or applicable work related experience
- The ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- A working knowledge of basic Microsoft office applications
- Excellent customer service, communication and telephone skills along with the ability to manage difficult customer situations
- Knowledge of AS400 a plus
