Testing Technician, Circuit Board

Position:  Circuit Board Testing Technician

 

Overview:

A strong growing Contract Electronics Manufacturing Services company is seeking an experienced, energetic Testing Technician with the ability to make decisions independently and perform multiple, prioritized tasks simultaneously, be detail-oriented and organized.  This position reports to Production Manager and the person will be working in a testing department consisting of 2-3 testing technicians ? an interesting and challenging opportunity.

 

Responsibilities:

Includes, but not limited to, the following:Be able to diagnose circuit board design/manufacture problems.Interphase with customers on the technique to test circuit boardsProvide technical support to Production Manager on circuit board performance issues.Troubleshoot circuit boards based on design drawings and specifications.Train new technicians.Direct technicians on the repair and functional testing processes.Select suitable equipment for testing.Co-ordinate with in-house ICT consultant on technical issue.Interface with Production, Engineering and Quality.Write technical reports on testing results.

 

Qualifications: (Required)Minimum five years experience with Printed Circuit Board Assembly and/or design or similar fields.Excellent communications skills at all levels within the organization and with external customers.Ability to read, write, speak and understand technical English with a high degree of proficiency.Possession of credentials in a related field.

 

Qualifications: (Preferred)Military, aerospace and medical device manufacturing experience. Knowledgeable of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001

 

Compensations:

This is an hourly position with health, dental and vision insurances. Please indicate current or expected wages.
