Utility Engineer

Hudson Engineering is currently seeking experienced utility engineers.? We are looking to hire multiple individuals immediately.? These positions focus on design and maintenance for electrical transformers and circuit breakers.?

Knowledge and experience in the following are required:

?

Transmission Substation Engineer:? substation layout, relay vault cable tray system, structural design, soil analysis, bus system design, wind loading, switch application, bus connection systems, AC & DC?systems, overhead lighting shielding, conduit, cable trench, grounding design, project management, and safety

?

Relay Engineer:? transmission line relay panels, bus differential panels, junction boxes, auto transformer differentials, transformer breaker installation, breaker failure panels, battery banks, CCVT, CT, RTU, station communication processor, power line carriers, project management and safety

?

These positions require prior utility experience, and all applicants should have a BS in Electrical Engineering or another related field.? Individuals hired will be responsible for performing design and various technical support duties.? Applicants must have the ability to develop and coordinate designs along with with installation and maintenance of?various electrical utility systems.
