This position is responsible for partnering with business lines to assess recruiting needs and with hiring managers to identify key recruitment issues. The incumbent will also implement and utilize effective recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified candidates and conduct in-depth screening of perspective applicants and establish and maintain a strong recruiting presence and create an effective service image.
Identify and recommend recruitment strategy for all assigned open positions and communicate strategy with hiring managers. Assist in writing and placing of advertisements and coordinate placement of open positions with recruitment agencies when appropriate. Screen resumes and applications, schedule applicant appointments, and conduct in-depth interviews. Refer eligible candidates to the hiring manager and schedule interviews when requested. Conduct reference checks, negotiate offer packages and draft offer letters for selected candidates. Provide guidance to management and associates on employment policies and procedures. Assist employees seeking transfer opportunities. Assist in updating job descriptions when turnover, restructuring and growth occur. Make recommendations to assist in the development of changes in employment procedures, policies and forms to better facilitate the recruiting process. Develop collaborative working relationships with recruitment agencies and representatives to ensure adequate coverage of personnel needs. Direct supervision through frequent meetings with supervisor and checks on direction and progress of work.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing or human resources or equivalent work experience. Minimum of two (2) years of specialized recruitment and/or staffing experience, preferably in the health care field. PHR Certification a plus.
Communication and Numeric Skills:Oral and written communication skills sufficient to convey simple messages to co-workers and others within the organization.
Computer Skills:Knowledge of email systems such a Microsoft Outlook sufficient to communicate with both internal and external contacts.
